Association arranges interaction between Chinese Academicians and Students and Faculty of Lawrence College, Ghora Gali, Murree
The Chairman, Pakistan-China Media Friendship Association led a delegation of Chinese education experts to historic, Lawrence College, Ghora Gali (LCGC), Murree with the cooperation of China Radio International. The purpose of this visit was to introduce LCGC to Chinese teaching experts to explore opportunities to teach Chinese language to the students there. The Chinese delegates held detailed discussion with Students and Faculty of Lawrence College while they also responded to a lot of questions about China asked by the students. The Chinese Education experts, officially qualified for teaching Chinese language to foreigners were of the view that the young children from junior school were at an age level where they could easily learn Chinese language while the senior students were also of equal potential. The college administration briefed the visitors about 150+ years old history of the institute and its achievements. Both sides agreed to move further on establishing China Study Center at the college and to start the process of teaching Chinese language to the students from the platform of Pak-China Media Friendship Association.
